Saigontourist opens tour to General Vo Nguyen Giap’s tomb

Saigontourist Travel Service Company has opened a new tour to Vung Chua in Quang Binh province, where General Vo Nguyen Giap is resting in peace.

The tour linking Ho Chi Minh City with Vung Chua runs every Sunday.
Flying to Quang Binh province, tourists will pay homage to and offer incense to legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap, the first Commander-in-Chief of the Viet Nam People’s Army at his tomb on Vung Chua-Yen Island.
Other destinations of this 4-day tour are Phong Nha, Quang Tri, Hue and Da Nang.

Vietnam shares three international border crossings with Cambodia at the following points: Moc Bai (Vietnam) to Bavet (Cambodia) is the longest established border crossing which is used on the main bus route between HCMC and Phnom Penh. Vinh Xuong (Vietnam) to Kaam Samnor (Cambodia) is a popular crossing amongst independent travellers. Many take a fast ferry boat from Chau Doc in the Mekong Delta as far as Phnom Penh. Tinh Bien (Vietnam) to Phnom Den (Cambodia) near Chau Doc gives access to southern Cambodia.
